UX/UI Designer - Flights

After being promoted to the UX/UI Lead for the flights team, I’ve had the priviledge of working on some really exciting, transformational areas of our product.

Some of the exciting work I’ve done:

  • Driven the long-term flights UX strategy for the next 3 years, collaborating with executives and stakeholders through numerous workshops to narrow down and define our North Star.

  • Redesigned the search form to increase hotel upsells during the discovery phase of the user journey

  • Lead design, user testing and deploying ‘Basic Economy’, allowing our users in the Canadian market to book international flights without baggage- something very common.

  • Led the UX process for ‘trending destination’ tiles, allowing users to see personalised suggestions for destinations based on their current location with best prices for each tile.

  • Assisted rollout of the new top-of-funnel Flights experience.
